The East Witton Male Voice Choir?Our conductor, Janet Taylor, is an accomplished and very proficient musician who is well respected and acknowledged for her dedication to music.

At the present time there are twenty seven members of varying ages. All that is asked is that YOU enjoy singing and making music together.Our repertoire includes a wide genre of music including jazz, popular, spirituals and classics – in fact anything goes!

We meet in Leyburn Methodist Hall on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm –9.00pm from September to May. Regular concerts include Christmas Music in Middleham and a Spring Concert in April in Leyburn.In addition to this the choir joins with the Hawes Silver Prize Band at Christmas for a Charity Concert which has raised many thousands of pounds over the years. We also enter the Wensleydale Tournament of Song on an annual basis, and give other concerts in a wide area during our season as requested. Over the past 14 years we have raised over £20,000. for various charities, local, national and international, including the Foot and Mouth Crisis and The Tsunami Appeal.We would be very pleased to welcome you to our rehearsals and look forward to seeing you!For further information contact 01969 623994
